It is very less time-consuming and you only need 3 ingredients to cook this low-calorie, low-carb, green leafy delight. All you need is fresh or frozen spinach, onions, tomatoes and your keto-approved oil and you can make this dish in no time.
I love to eat my Keto stir-fried spinach with oven-fried mackerel. Mackerel adds protein and heart-healthy fats to the dish. The kind that burns fat. So it’s great for you. You can eat it with some keto butternut squash fufu. The video below shows you how to cook it in a breeze.
Or, you can choose to make cabbage swallow. How about some purple cauliflower rice? Cauliflower rice pairs just great with this Keto stir-fried spinach and fried mackerel. Though you can eat it on its own or with any keto-friendly or low-carb approved side dish. It is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Keto Stir-fried Spinach for Weight loss
This keto stir-fried spinach can be cooked in a breeze using just 3 main ingredients. It can be eaten with oven-fried Mackerel fish for extra protein.
1000g fresh or frozen spinach
1 fresh tomatoes, seeded
1/2 onion, cubed
Habanero pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons crayfish
Salt and bouillon cube to taste
1/2 cup palm oil or extra virgin coconut oil
- Heat oil in a pot. If you are using palm oil, do not bleach.
- Add onions and fry for 2 minutes, then add tomatoes
- Meanwhile, wash fresh spinach, or defroze frozen spinach. Squeeze out excess water.
- Chop spinach into small slices.
- Add crayfish and pepper to the tomato-onion mixture, stir-fry for a minute.
- Now add your spinach. Stir-fry for 2 minutes and serve hot with fried Mackerel fish.
