Science calls it citrus maxima (could it mean big citrus fruit?), while normalos call it pomelo. One thing I know for sure is that this giant citrus fruit is loaded with nutrients tha have the ability to boost the immune system, improve digestion, lower blood pressure, reduce cramping, prevent anemia, boost bone strength, reduce signs of premature aging, prevent cancer, protect heart health, aid in weight loss, and boost oral and dental health.
The pomelo looks like a pink grapefruit inside and out but it is way larger (about 3 times larger) and is sweeter than the grapefruit.
Eat it whole or juice it. Any way you chose, it still taste yummilicious!
