Sometimes mishaps can be the best thing that can happen to a foodie in the kitchen! So I made creamy almond milk using my food processor and the nuts were not properly crushed. Hence all the juice was not extracted by my machine. This frustrated me quite a bit because I thought I was about to lose a great deal of valuable nutrients. I needed to do something then it hit me! Coconut sweet! So what has coconut sweet got to do with anything? You ask! Well I thought about how coconut sweets are made back home. The coconut if coarsely grated for those sweet little bites.
I could do same with almonds. I searched my pantry and found leftover unrefined cane sugar and got to work. Here is how to make my sweet almond bites. They are absolutely yummy and great as an easter treat to sooth your sweet tooth. Try it and thanks me later.
Happy and healthy cooking xoxo.
