mango tango people! I’m bringing the tropics right into your kitchen. Create some space you all lol. Tropical fruit smoothie in housssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssse!
Can a girl be real for bit? I’m a smoothie freak!
Reason #1: it can be whipped up in less than 5 minutes.
Reason #2: it is healthy and delicious.
Reason #3: you can mix just about any fruit and/or vegetable.
This smoothie fulfills all three reasons mentioned above and even more. It gives a feeling of summer, sunshine and vacation under a coconut tree. If like me you have a hard time eating your portion of fruits and vegetables daily, smoothing can greatly help. Smoothies can be prepped way in advance and stored in the freezer for later use and they are great on the go. #praisedance
You want to make sure your fruits are very ripe to ensure sweetness. You can also freeze one part of your fruits for that really nice smoothie icecream-like texture or add ice when done smoothing. I chilled my mango in the freezer until just before it was frozen since my blender is not powerful enough to crush iced fruits and it was just fine.
For the optimal tropical fruit smoothie feeling, I used fresh coconut water, you can substitute this with coconut milk or plain ‘ol water.
